25-bed mixed PCU
4:1 patient ratio
Supports a diverse PCU patient population
Actively preparing for Level III Trauma designation
Stable unit with low turnover and strong team engagement
Role Overview
The RN Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and operational management of the PCU. This role ensures high-quality patient care, staff development, regulatory compliance, and achievement of departmental and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Providing leadership and direction for nursing staff and supervisors
Overseeing daily operations, staffing, and patient flow
Fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth
Supporting quality initiatives, performance improvement, and Magnet principles
Partnering with senior leadership on unit growth, expansion, and program development
Serving as a clinical and operational resource for the care team

Required Qualifications
Active RN license
Leadership experience
Strong clinical background, preferably in PCU or acute care settings

Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is needed for this role.
A minimum of (3) three years' relevant experience is desired.
Registered Nurse
Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of starting the job.
