Summary:
The Center for Nursing Excellence (CNE) Program Coordinator provides programmatic and operational management support for center for nursing excellence programs and initiatives, exercising judgment and discretion in managing program operations, supporting accreditation compliance, and ensuring a high-quality learner experience.
The CNE Program Coordinator functions as a departmental resource with the capacity to provide coverage for other CNE roles and responsibilities that do not require a license or clinical practice to complete including student placement, accreditation activities, onboarding and orientation, retention and recruitment initiatives, and continuing education activities.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage core operational workflows for Center for Nursing Excellence programs emphasizing efficiency, standardization, and clear communication.
Support nursing recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives by maintaining accurate systems, tracking participation, and supporting timely communication across stakeholders.
Maintain and optimize records and platforms related to nursing certification, continuing professional development contact hours, and professional advancement programs.
Support accreditation and designation readiness (e.g., Magnet®) through data tracking, evidence organization, timeline management, and communication support.
Provide administrative coordination support for nursing research, evidence-based practice, and clinical inquiry activities, including required documentation and tracking.
Manage departmental technology tools (databases, surveys, learning platforms, dashboards, and tracking systems), used to support CNE programs.
Coordinate limited financial and resource tracking tied to professional development initiatives, such as budgets, purchasing, and expense documentation.
Prepare and coordinate reports, presentations, and communication materials for nursing leaders, collaborators, and enterprise audiences.

Technical Expertise
Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex, multi-component programs and administrative processes with limited direction.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills applied to program coordination, data tracking, and accreditation support.
Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in managing confidential, high-visibility nursing workforce and regulatory information.
Proven capability to manage competing priorities, timelines, and deadlines across multiple initiatives and stakeholders.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with nursing leaders, interdisciplinary teams, and external partners.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and enterprise-level data, learning, and project management systems; ability to maintain and leverage complex tracking tools.
Education and Experience
Education: High school diploma required. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
Years of relevant experience: minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in program coordination, healthcare administration, education support, or accreditation-related work
