Have you ever considered starting your own nursing practice—but felt overwhelmed about where to begin?

The Mama Coach is the only established global community of Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioners in private nursing practice since 2015. We help RNs and NPs launch a successful, evidence-informed independent practice in 12–16 weeks, then support you long-term as you grow.

You can build a practice in one division, two divisions, or all three:

• Women’s Health: Perimenopause & Menopause

• Fertility: Preconception Health Coaching + Assisted Fertility Support

• Maternal & Child Health: Pregnancy, Infant Feeding, Postpartum, Sleep, Potty Training, Starting Solids, CPR & Choking

Work as much or as little as you choose. You’ll be supported by a global network of nurse colleagues and mentors—virtually surrounding you as you build.

What This Looks Like (Day-to-Day)

As a NP in independent practice with The Mama Coach, you may:

• Provide assessment-centered, evidence-informed NP care

• Deliver 1:1 client sessions virtually (and in-person where applicable)

• Facilitate workshops/classes (community, employer, clinic, online)

• Build referral relationships with local health professionals

• Use a privacy-compliant EMR and your own e-commerce website (provided)

• Grow your schedule based on your goals and availability

Focus Areas (Choose Your Division)

Women’s Health (Perimenopause & Menopause)

You’ll be trained to:

• Support women through perimenopause/menopause using Mama Coach programming

• Educate using The Mama Coach Model™ built from 500+ research-based sources

• Facilitate workshops on perimenopause, menopause, and HRT education

• Actively listen, assess, and coach using our structured pillars (nutrition, movement, wellness factors, integration)

• Become a Certified Menopause Society Practitioner

Maternal & Child Health

You’ll be trained to:

• Teach pregnancy and newborn classes

• Support infant feeding (breast, bottle, pumping, formula, starting solids)

• Provide postpartum and newborn support

• Coach families using assessment-based sleep hygiene programs

• Support potty training/toilet learning

• Facilitate CPR & choking education/workshops

• Provide telehealth and in person NP care

Fertility

You’ll be trained to:

• Provide preconception health coaching across lifestyle and health factors

• Order labs and provide fertility referrals as necessary

• Support clients through assisted fertility treatments (IUI, egg retrieval, embryo transfer)

• Provide injection education/support (in-home or clinic where applicable)

• Offer early conception teaching/support until OB/midwifery care begins

Nurse Practitioner Pathway

Nurse Practitioners receive the full RN pathway plus additional training and tools to support your expanded scope, including:

• Virtual assessment and care best practices

• Treatment support aligned with guidelines and your jurisdiction

• Strategy to build a mobile and/or virtual clinic based on your experience

• Guidance on labs, equipment sourcing, prescription workflows, and referrals
  You may tailor services based on your specialty and can build a primary care practice depending on licensure and local regulations.

• Business Logistics Coach helps you create a realistic timeline

• Online modules covering business + clinical programming per service

• Live 1:1 support throughout training

2) Practice-Based Live Learning

• Expert-led sessions + case studies

• Skill building in assessment-centered care + programming application

3) Mentorship (Your First Clients)

• Paired with an expert nurse mentor in your chosen division

• Support as you work with your first 5 clients

• Strategy to help you find clients and build momentum

4) Ongoing Long-Term Support

• Daily community support

• 1:1 strategic planning to support monthly goals

• Twice-monthly business coaching

• Monthly professional development

• Annual conference opportunities (in-person + virtual)

Tools & Infrastructure Provided

• Your own e-commerce website with a dedicated URL (built by HQ)

• Privacy-compliant EMR (provided)

• Programming, assessments, templates, and client education resources

• Marketing guidance designed for nurses (professional, ethical, compliant)

• Ability to complete training and participate in mentorship

• Comfort working virtually (and optionally in-person, depending on your model)
