The Assistant Unit Manager, is a professional Registered Nurse with solid clinical experience and demonstrated skill related to clinical and administrative nursing practice. The incumbent exercises administrative and clinical oversight to ensure optimal healthcare delivery to Veterans receiving care through Veteran Health Indiana. He/she is accountable for writing and adhering to established policies, standards of care, and standards of practice. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
