Your day

As a RN Program Coordinator Trauma Performance Improvement, you know that every day is different, which is why you need to know how to:

• Collaborate closely with Trauma program leadership to assure compliance with Trauma guidelines


• Develop and coordinate trauma education throughout the continuum of care


• Perform quality assessments and performance improvement reviews for the Trauma program and other committees with approved performance improvement plans in accordance with the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Trauma Center critera


• Travel with the trauma team to State meetings quarterly. Additional travel for conferences, training, etc  may be required

Your experience

We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence:

Required

• Current RN license to practice nursing in the state of Montana


• Minimum of 5 years clinical nursing RN experience, 2 years in step/down, critical care, emergency, care coordination or previous Trauma PI experience


• BSN, required


• ACLS required

Preferred

• TNCC or obtained within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment position


• TNCC instructor


• 2 years level I or level II Trauma Center experience in the ED or Trauma/Surgical ICU
