As the most acutelevel of care in Kindred's continuum, our transitional carehospitals offer the same critical care patients receive in atraditional hospital or intensive care unit, but for anextended recovery period. Our LPN/LVNs play a vital role inthe recovery process for chronic, critically ill and medically complexpatients.
As a Charge Nurse - LPN /LVN youwill:
The LPN Charge Nurse manages a designated group of nursing employees on anursing unit and assures smooth operations of the unit for a designated shiftunder the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Could encompass one or more units dependingupon size and clinical programs. Scopeof work may be modified by State specific rules under the Nurse Practice Act.
Graduate of accredited LPN/LVN School of Nursing.
Current valid LPN/LVN license in the state employed.
Valid CPR certification
At least one (1) year nursing experience preferred.
Evidence of continuing education or special preparation or experience in gerontological nursing and/or long term care nursing desirable.
