This position will be primarily responsible for administering Flu and COVID vaccinations throughout our internal MHealth Fairview system. This is a temporary, benefits eligible position. This position may require that you are able to travel to multiple sites as needed.
Demonstrate safe delivery of vaccinations.
Review consent forms to determine eligibility of individuals to receive vaccines.
Enter/record key patient information.
Observe all safety policies and procedures in the work area.
Use appropriate PPE, adhere to quality assurance procedures, and maintain all HIPAA standards.
Participate in training and continuing education programs as necessary.
Understand and comply with applicable federal, state and local laws and company policies.
Use critical thinking skills and clinical assessment skills to handle possible emergency situations and demonstrate strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently, demonstrate critical thinking skills and engage in ongoing process improvement.
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program OR
Current Minnesota LPN License OR
Current Minnesota RN License
One year of previous healthcare experience in an ambulatory setting
