This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Learn more The Chemical Dependency Rehabilitation Program (CDRP) Intake Coordinator RN coordinates the admissions to the SARRTP, Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and outpatient substance use disorder programs. Additionally the Intake Coordinator is responsible to track and keep Veterans engaged should there be a waiting list for any level of care in the CDRP. Duties include, but are not limited to: Assigns patient care responsibilities based upon patient needs and competencies of staff. Formulates a plan of care based on nursing assessments, using the nursing process, based on the ANA and Psychiatric Standards of Nursing Practice. Recognizes medical/psychiatric emergencies and initiates appropriate and timely actions. Recognizes actual or potential changes in clients' condition and response to treatment, initiating appropriate action and revising the care plan accordingly. Documents care given in the medical records in a consistent, accurate, concise and timely manner.
