The Registered Nurse will perform clinical duties as directed by the Associate Director for Patient Care Services through the Chief Nurse of Primary Care, designated through the Nurse Manager and Assistant Nurse Manager of the clinic. Provides nursing care to patients who present with full range of health issues. The RN is responsible for assessment, intervention and evaluation of patients in the provision of nursing care. This responsibility requires the use of critical thinking skills, equipment, technologies and documentation. He/she has the skills and ability to triage patients and prepare them for physician examination and is knowledgeable of organization and administration of multifaceted health care delivery systems, accreditation standards, specialty and subspecialty care, educational principles, and epidemiology. The Primary Care Registered Nurse is organizationally and operationally responsible to the Primary Care Clinical Manager.
