KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: •Satisfy all relevant criteria and qualifications outlined in the Medical Staff Policy on Allied Health Professional, required to be credentialed •Maintains practice agreement with service of specialty, and practices within framework of respective scope of practice •Must be knowledgeable in billing regulation practices to include documentation requirements/CPT coding regulations •Must be able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, without loss of efficiency or composure, and be able to perform under stressful conditions when confronted with multiple requests, demonstrating prioritizing skills •Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with multiple disciplines
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: •Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in nursing required. •An Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who does not have a master’s degree or two-thousand (2,000) hours of supervised practice will be required to furnish proof of jointly approved protocols with a collaborating physician, which shall guide the nurse practitioner’s practice. •Current and valid Federal DEA license required. •Previous NICU experience preferred
Current License as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN-NP or APRN-PNP) in the state of NE/Compact state required •Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required to work •Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required. •Current and valid Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required, within 1 year of hire.
